We have been working on the house now for a good few months but we have also been working on our family - this is the newest addition :)
I haven't done an update on this in a month - kept forgetting to bring the camera with me when I was going up to the site. So here is a very picture heavy post .....
This is the hole for our recycling, it is in the pantry and you won't see out of it like a window. It will all be covered in.
We have one sliding door. the windows all arrived with the wrong window sills on them and had to go back to the factory, they should be coming back this week. This was the only one that could be fitted. It's in the playroom.
And from the outside!
Some of the daffodils I planted last Autumn.
We have stone! The stone masons arrived at the beginning of last week and they are this far along now.
The bottom of the window here is beside the front door and goes the whole way up to the roof.
This is our "curvy bit." Jonathan did a lot of the steel work on this with Mark and it is ready now for the zinc covering. The front door will be under the slope to the right of the red post you can see.
This is downstairs in the sitting room, the window seat is finished. Mark is working on the top of this window, getting it ready to order the glass for them.
At the top of the stairs this is what you will see (well it will be finished!) you can see the wiring for the down lights poking out here.
This is out of the spare bedroom window, you can see the deep window all around the bottom, it will be a desk.
We also have a poured bit of concrete to support the chimney, this is one block of the chimney.
Turning your head to one side here! These are the two corner windows from the outside.
we also have a door for the laundry room, it will be fitted after some more fibre glassing is done.
And our bedroom sliding door, also waiting for more fibre glassing.
A lot done even in the last month and more big changes in the next week or two with windows and plastering coming up.
